We recently had an Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV with battery storage installed through the Bristol City Leap / Warm Homes grant scheme, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, communication was excellent. Steph and the back-office team kept everything moving smoothly, were always responsive when needed, and made what could have been a complex process feel straightforward and stress-free. A special mention to Dave, who carried out the design and heat loss calculations. It was clear that a significant amount of thought and expertise went into designing the system correctly rather than simply replacing like-for-like. The resulting radiator selections and system design gave us confidence that the installation would perform as intended. The installation teams were outstanding. Professional, courteous, tidy, and incredibly efficient throughout. What impressed us most was that they simply got on with the job with minimal fuss while keeping us informed at every stage. The ASHP installation was completed in just four days: Day 1: Boiler removed, primary pipework installed (requiring some floorboards to be lifted), old emitters removed, and a new consumer unit/fuse board fitted. Day 2: New emitters installed. Despite moving to a heat pump system, the radiator sizes were very reasonable and in many cases comparable in size to the originals thanks to the detailed design work. Day 3: Water and hot water services restored. Day 4: Heat pump installed, commissioned, and fully handed over. One tip for anyone having a similar installation: decorate behind your existing radiator locations before the new emitters are fitted—you may never get a better opportunity! The handover was excellent and made operating the new system very straightforward. I'd recommend taking a quick video of the explanation for future reference, although the system itself is surprisingly simple to use. The Solar PV installation was equally impressive, with the panels installed in a single day and the inverter and battery installation completed shortly afterwards. Again, the team was professional, efficient, and clearly took pride in their work. We are exceedingly happy with the finished result. The quality of workmanship, professionalism of everyone involved, speed of installation, and overall customer experience have been first-class throughout. We genuinely could not recommend the team more highly. Very pleased with our new solar panels and the service we received from Redbridge & Sons. Everyone we spoke with was polite, helpful, and knew their stuff. We were up and running in no time and the support we've received has been fab. Really can't fault them at all. They put the panels up on a south facing roof during a heat wave. I thought they would cancel or take extra time as a result, but they didn't.They came prepared, worked hard, got the job done in half the expected time, and even cleaned up afterwards! Absolutely thrilled with the work Redbridge & Sons just completed at my home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They installed 23 solar panels, a 10 kVA inverter, batteries, and ran Cat 6 cabling throughout the house. We've gone green 💚 thanks to the install of our solar panels and Givenergy UK inverter and battery system, installed by Redbridge & Sons in Gloucester. So easy from start to finish, from quotation through to installation. We're very happy 😊. The team who completed the install, the solar panels and the battery, inverter and wiring were all very pleasant and arrived on time, around 8am. They were all friendly, very polite and tidied up after themselves. Very good job. Setting up the system, registering the account and subsequently using the GivEnergy app has proved to be very straight forward. We're now in the process of setting up the SEG with Octopus Energy 🐙so that we can export back to the grid which will hopefully mean that we can not only save a few pounds but also generate a small income to help cover our outlay with time. So bring on the hot, bright and sunny days. A great service from start to finish, including a personal service from Lee, the boss. Communication has been excellent. We were recommended to Redbridge by two friends, both currently running GivEnergy batteries, inverter and solar panels. I have had a PV and Battery system installed on my house. The team did a fantastic job on the roof and the electricians in the house, overall a first class installation & service from all involved.
