Since we are a company that is focussed on helping people make their homes as energy efficient and effective as possible it is perhaps not surprising that we admire athletes who train to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their bodies. We see them as having similar values to us.
For this reason, we support local athletic organisations – especially ones involved in youth activities – whenever possible. We also support organisations whose work is related to environmental education, neurodivergence and eradicating fuel poverty and homelessness.
For us, the donations we make to local charities is all about creating positive social value. We want to make a difference to local lives with both our technical expertise and by investing in causes that help build healthier and happier communities.
One of the recent ways we have done this is by supporting Cheltenham & County Harriers. It is a local charity that plays a vital role in promoting athleticism, teamwork, and personal growth across all age groups.
Cheltenham Harriers is more than just a sports club. It’s a space where individuals – from eager nine-year-olds to retirees – come together to challenge themselves, achieve personal goals, and embrace the joy of athletics.
